Professional Learning

The Kansas Council for the Social Studies is committed to supporting and encouraging the professional growth of K-12 social studies teachers across the state. Our goal is to offer a variety of opportunities as you work to become better at your craft. Besides the information on outside resources available here on the News page, we also offer face to face workshops, a yearly conference in partnership with other professional organizations in Kansas, and will soon begin providing just-in-time learning via iTunes U.

Face to Face training:
We're planning several workshops sessions during the fall of 2016. Check back here in late summer for more details.

Yearly conference
Make plans now to attend the annual conference on November 6-7. We'll be getting together at the Eisenhower Museum and Library. It's gong to epic! Check back here or head over to the conference website for details.
